Calcium is more concentrated than other well-absorbed forms of calcium.

Calcium consists of one molecule of malic acid bound to two molecules of calcium, resulting in a compound that is 29% calcium, compared to calcium citrate, which is 19% calcium, allowing for more elemental calcium per capsule.

Calcium contributes to:

- normal muscle function
- normal blood clotting
- normal energy yielding metabolism
- normal functioning of digestive enzymes
- normal neurotransmittion

It also plays a role in the process of cell division and specialisation and the maintenance of normal bones and teeth.
