Orthoplex FemmeBiotic V-Intensive is a lactoferrin and lactobacilli combination featuring L. rhamnosus ProBioEtna CA15. 10 days of oral supplementation with CA15 has been demonstrated in a 2025 clinical trial to help temporarily relieve symptoms including mild vaginal itch, discomfort and excessive discharge.

CA15 helps support healthy vaginal microflora, by increasing vaginal lactobacilli and antagonising a wide range of urogenital pathogens such as Gardnerella, Candida spp., Staphylococci, and E. coli. CA15 also helps support healthy vaginal pH, while lactoferrin combined with L. acidophilus La-14 and L. rhamnosus HN001 helps maintain vaginal health and healthy vaginal flora.
