FerrIMMUNE

Why FerrIMMUNE? Modern diets provide too few antioxidant-rich plant foods. Nutrigenomic science has proven that vegetables in particular, are also rich in signalling molecules that can activate our own protective genes. FerrIMMUNE combines concentrates of orange and purple carrots as a source of carotenoids that can convert to essential Vitamin A.

The bold colour of purple carrots is due to anthocyanins, potent signalling molecules. Combined with sprouted daikon, FerrIMMUNE supplies a range of protective antioxidants, some of which are absorbed – and others to protect against oxidation of baked, roasted or blackened foods in the meal, such as meats, potatoes and pastries during digestion.

Lactoferrin tightly binds dietary iron and plays a key role in making iron more absorbable through the
intestinal wall. FerrIMMUNE, when consumed with the mixed main meal, is ideal for those with poor tolerance for iron supplements.
