How to Take:
RECOMMENDED USE: Use 15 minutes prior to activity, then every 30-40 minutes during exercise. Always use gel with 200-300ml of fluids to help prevent gastrointestinal upset. Maximum daily intake 10 servings.
How Much & When?
Science tells us that consuming 30-60 grams + of carbs per hour (even higher in ultra endurance activities), within a session, will enhance performance. Although it may feel early, this should be started in the very first hour, ideally 10-15 min pre start. We generally suggest 1-2 gels hourly on top of your electrolyte hydration but trial this in training and adjust to suit you.

Most sports gels on the market are hard to consume with their sticky consistency, taste artificial and can be sickly sweet making them difficult to use for long periods while training and racing.
PURE Energy Gels are of a thicker, more traditional consistency than our fluid gels, designed for snacking on, great for evenly spreading out your fuel intake.
